Thijs Hendrix installed as Knight

Today the Ambassador of France in The Netherlands, His Excellency Jean-François Blarel, installed Thijs Hendrix as “Chevalier de l’Ordre du Mérite Agricole”

During a ceremony at the Hendrix family farm “Saazehof” in Ospel (Limburg), The Netherlands, the Ambassador of France in The Netherlands, His Excellency Jean-François Blarel installed Thijs Hendrix as Knight in the National Order of Agricultural Merit (Chevalier de l’Ordre du Mérite Agricole).

National Order of Agricultural Merit (L’Ordre National du Mérite Agricole) is an order of merit established in France on 7 July 1883 by Minister of Agriculture Jules Méline to reward services to agriculture.

Thijs Hendrix (*1955) is a farmer and entrepreneur, as his father and grandfather, with registered office since 1923 at “Saazehof”, Ospel, The Netherlands. Through his group company Hendrix Genetics B.V., headquartered in Boxmeer, he continues to focus on growth and consolidation opportunities in animal breeding and life sciences.
