Isabrown

ISABROWN is the leading commercial layer with brown eggs selected by ISA. Historically some key investments have been made in the breeding program that are now explaining the outstanding performance of the bird.

ISABROWN is today well suited in various production environments whether it is in new or old cages or free range and barn systems (further information and field results will  be available soon)

SFPA

ISA 

1959: First introduction of the Warren lines bred from Rhode Island lines (former ISA Brown)

1962: Studler (formerly SFPA) is created and continues with the Warren breeding programme.

1976-77: Warren is renamed ISA Brown and ISA is created out of Studler. The distribution part is renamed SFPA. 

2001: Investment in a 3rd selection farm at ISA, concentrating on quality of eggs at a later stage of the lay.  

2005: ISA, SFPA and Isabrown are joining Hendrix Genetics with renewed commitment in R&D program.

2008: ISA Brown PS are treated "TMA Free" allowing to include more rapeseed in the feed formulation (first application of genomics)

2009: Isabrown lines are included into the first worldwide official breakthrough Genomic Program.

2009: Extension Cycle 100 weeks for Pure Lines ISA Brown (renewed comitment of ISA in the future of ISA Brown).
